Dr. Ramados
On the 29th of July 2007, Dr. V. Ramadoss, a businessman and medical
practitioner made a donation of SCR 1,000,000 to the Seychelles University
Foundation.
Dr. Ramadoss who is the Chairman of the SUF Fundraising Committee
feels that the creation of a University in Seychelles is a noble cause and
intends his donation as an example to other local businesses.

Chinese Embassy
On the 17th of September, the Chinese Ambassador to Seychelles, His Excellency
Geng Wenbing donated a sum of SCR 100,000 to the Minister for Employment and
Human Resources Development, Mrs. Macsuzy Mondon, as the contribution of all
the staff at the Chinese Embassy towards the Seychelles University Foundation.
This generous gesture was inspired by the pledge made by President James A.
Michel and his cabinet of Ministers to give one day of their salary to the
Seychelles University Foundation.

Relations studio
Relations studio, an initiative of father and son Clifford and Eddy Telemaque,
is a strong leader on the local music scene. On the 1st of December 2007,
Relations Studio organised a concert to celebrate the 5th anniversary of
their business venture and went on to donate part of the ticket proceeds to
the Seychelles University Foundation.
A cheque for SCR 10,000 was presented
to the Chairman of the SUF, Dr. Rolph Payet, during a small ceremony on
the 25th of January. With this gesture, Relations Studio earned the
title ‘Friend of the Seychelles University Foundation’.

Airtel – Telecom (Seychelles) Ltd
Airtel – Telecom (Seychelles) Ltd, one of the two local telecommunications
company has followed their pledge of support to the Seychelles University
Foundation by offering to supply the Seychelles University Foundation office
with all its Telecommunications needs including a mobile phone package for all
the staff.
Airtel has Pledged 1 million Rupees to the SUF on the 16th September at a special event held .The pledge was made by Mr Vinod Sud , CEO of Airtel on behalf of the Chairman Mr Sunil Mittal and the Board of Directors of Telecom Seychelles Ltd or Airtel as we know. Through this pledge,company has committed itself to this Project for creating a knowledge based society.

Air Seychelles Ltd
Air Seychelles Ltd has been a staunch supporter of the Seychelles University Foundation
since its inception.
To date, Air Seychelles has provided the Seychelles University Foundation with free
air tickets and other concessions pertaining to the extension of the work of the
Seychelles University Foundation.

NOUVOBANQ
A donation of 1 million rupees was made by the Chairman of Nouvobanq, Mr. Viswanethan shankar, in June this year to His Excellency James A. Michel, the patron of the SUF.
This donation confirms their support to the development of human resource and capacity building in the Seychelles and comes at an opportune moment when the Foundation is forging partnerships for the implementation of the University.

Abhaye Valabhji
Anil Valabhji, managing director of Abhaye Valabhji Pty Ltd, will formally donated
a car to the Seychelles University Foundation on Monday the 8th of August 2008.
The car, a 1300cc Daihatsu Sirion, was specially imported for the Foundation and is valued at over R100,000.
“The donation confirms Abhaye Valabhji as a Supporter of the Seychelles University Foundation and has come at a time when the Foundation is taking various steps towards furthering the activities related to implementation of the first national University in the Seychelles,” chairman of the Foundation Rolph Payet said yesterday.

UCPS
Mr Joe Albert, pledged materials worth One million Rupees towards the construction
of the University .The pledge on behalf of UCPS was made on the 16th September at
a special event. The UCPS thus has ensured its support and commitment to this project.
"The engines of UCPS will be behind you all the time to support you" Mr.
Joe Albert told the gathering.

Vijay Construction
Mr Vijay Patel, earned the title of Co-Founder of the Seychelles University with the pledge of 10 Million Rupees towards the construction of the City Campus that will house the IT faculty. "Let us Work together" the motto of Vijay construction fits well and is the appropriate for the implementation of this project. Active participation such as this will indeed ensure economic prosperity for the Seychelles.
